Deval Lamont Davis

Deval Lamont Davis was born October 16th, 1980, in Baltimore MD. the late Harvey Davis and Tina Wyche. He departed this life on Feb 5th, 2023, at Maria Parham Hospital in Henderson, NC.

“Mikey” as he was affectionally called, was a fun, loving, sweet, and a caring person. “Mickey” loved good food, good cooking, watching video games, and TV. He enjoyed spending quality time with his children, family, and other children in the community. He had an excellent touch in detailing car. His favorite sport was basketball, with the Duke Blue Devils being his favorite basketball team.

“Mikey” was educated in the Warren County Public School Systems.

“Mikey” was a truck driver from his heart and was employed with CM Tucker Lumber in Middleburg NC.

“Mikey” leaves to cherish his precious memories: his three beloved children Shaniyah Jones & Deval Davis Jr of Warren County and Devia Terry of Henderson NC; Parents: Cardell and Tina Wyche of Manson NC; Two sisters: Stephanie Wyche (Sheldon) of Henderson NC and Deannie Jordan of Roanoke Rapids NC; Two brothers: Cardell Wyche Jr of Durham NC and James Seward of Henderson, NC; Aunts: Jean Downey, Genevia Skipwith, Maria Cheek, Francis Clinton, Lula Powell, Ellen Wyche, Stella Wyche, Illia Davis; Uncles: Howard Davis, Bobby Davis, Michael Wyche, Leroy Wyche; 10 Nieces and Nephews & 6 Great Nieces and Nephews; Close Friends: Lovelace, “Twerk”, “Tuck”, and “Suge.”

There will be a public viewing for Deval on Friday, February 10, 2023, from 11:00AM to 3:00PM at Alight Feggin and Feggin Cremation and Mortuary Services.

Funeral Services for Deval will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023, 12:00PM, at Spring Street Missionary Baptist Church 511 Orange Street, Henderson, NC 27536.
