Kenneth L. Copeland was born September 12, 1972, in New Jersey to Elaine Copeland. Bennie & Margaret Copeland raised Ken as their own after losing their daughter, Elaine. Ken will not only rejoin his parents, but also his sister Veronica and two brothers, Glenn & Ronald and grandson Marcus Jr.
There was nothing that meant more to Ken than family.
During his union with Shirl Stuckey, they bore four beautiful children together Marcus & Elijah Stuckey and Zahkeyah & Aaliyah Copeland. He also had a third daughter, Tyleiah Edwards and a granddaughter Malaysia Stuckey all of which he loved dearly and will cherish his memory. Ken is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews who he was more than an uncle to, but another father figure.
To everyone who knew Ken, they knew he was a soldier by every sense of the word. Since birth he fought through life’s toughest battles. Ken was the man who didn’t shy away from a fight and would do anything to care for and protect those he loved. He held down the Copeland clan through their most trying days.
Even with his health declining, Ken put his family first. God knew it was time for one of his best soldiers to finally rest and may he finally do so peacefully.
